THE EXODUS:
Seventy souls from Israel went into Egypt, with Joseph already being present. (Exodus 1:1-5)
Joseph died and all his brethren, and all that generation. (Exodus1:6)
The children of Israel were fruitful and multiplied abundantly; the land was filled with them. (Exodus 1:7)
A new king arose which did not know Joseph. (Exodus 1:8)
